Lux Vivida was composed with the intent of creating a clear, bright and lively image. means 'bright light' and this is the main feature and hallmark of the work, which evokes the traditional concept of programme music. The work features a succession of contrasting themes with an alternation of rhythmic situations and long melodic pauses and - in the final part - these elements are intensified to underline the fact that the 'bright light', present throughout the piece, is the common denominator of the whole composition.
