Description:
This colorful portrait of the gold rush of 1849 will challenge your band with a wide variety of styles and moods. The rousing main theme portrays the hustle and bustle of a mining town that has caught 'gold fever,' followed by a slower middle section using the folk tune 'Clementine' in two contrasting, novel styles. A brief statement of the main theme finishes the piece and will have your audiences on their feet in no time!
