His experiences with young conductors and youth orchestras inspired Thomas Doss to write this suite. In each of the four parts he created a different, freely interpretable "sound world": an "Overture" that announces a celebration, a magnificent "Pastorale" at dusk, the "Lamento" that seems to come down from heaven, and finally a colorful, fiery "Danza" ideal for young and young-at-heart orchestras and conductors with a lot of imagination!
