Description:
The work Eris - Historia Planetulae by Daniel Muck is a symphonic tone poem about the planet of the same name, which has only belonged to the group of dwarf planets in our solar system since 2006. In various sections of this composition, the different sides of this small planet are musically interpreted. This work is characterized by imposing passages, which are intended to describe the symbolism of this "tenth" planet, through to calm, gentle melodic lines. The composition ends with spherical and powerful sounds. Daniel Muck has also already composed a musical setting about the related dwarf planet Ceres.
The work CERES - Historia Planetulae by Daniel Muck is a symphonic tone poem about the planet of the same name, which has only belonged to the group of dwarf planets in our solar system since 2006. In eight sections of this composition, as long ago only "The 8 Planets" of our solar system were known, the most diverse aspects of this small planet are musically interpreted. From wild passages, which are intended to describe the dark spot of the planet Ceres, to calm, gentle melodic lines, this work is a mixed bag. At the end, the composition closes with powerful and strong chords towards the future! Daniel Muck has also composed another setting about the related dwarf planet ERIS; together they form the "Minor Planets" suite.
