This work 'Music from the Menu' has been commissioned by the S.O.M.N.O. and was composed in 1975. It wants to suggest a dinner menu in a musical way. All parts are in perfect harmony as are the different dishes of one and the same menu. 'Musique à la Carte' has always been one of Hautvast's most popular compositions.
