My Little Town Belz

My Little Town Belz is a work full of nostalgia and tenderness, inspired by the traditional Yiddish song Mayn Shtetele Belz. This emblematic melody evokes with great sensitivity the memory of a lost village, a symbol of childhood, roots and collective memory. A simple but deeply expressive melody line creates an intimate, almost meditative atmosphere. Michal Worek's arrangement preserves the authenticity of the original material while giving it a new richness of color and nuance. The contrasts between gentleness and intensity emphasize the emotion contained in this ancient song. My Little Town Belz thus invites the listener on an inner journey, between melancholy and hope, where tradition becomes a universal language that touches all generations.
