Night Psalm
for wind band is based on the poem of the same name by Jon Fosse. Throughout the work, music and text are interwoven: a narrator recites the poem, while at times the ensemble itself whispers and speaks fragments of the text. This creates a unique echo effect, where poetry and music merge into a meditative unity. The piece was originally written for the Norwegian Naval Forces' Band.
