Description:
The polka française "Neues Leben" (op. 278) by Johann Strauss (son) was composed in the summer of 1863 during a trip to Russia by the composer. It was originally entitled "Adieu-Polka", but was given its current name in Vienna.
Marcus Müller has now created a contemporary arrangement of the approximately three-minute work for large wind orchestra.
