A short, soft, mellow piece of music, expresses the feeling you sometime have when thoughtfulness and calmness are more important. After working on a piece for choire using a poem called 'Nights have no name' (composers translation) by Stein Mehren, I wanted to explore the harmonic language by using it in a piece for band. The piece is soft and I focus equally on melody, sound and timbre.
