Description:
One of the most famous arias in the history of opera. Masterful arrangement for vocal- or instrumental soloist with band!
Puccini composed one of the most beautiful arias of the opera litterature with 'O mio babbino caro' from his 1918 opera 'Gianni Schicchi'. The title 'My dear little father' is the young Lauretta's plea to her father for giving permission to merry her boyfriend. If refused, she will submit herself to the river Arno which flows through Firenze, the city where the action takes place.
This arrangement is written for vocal solo (soprano) with concert band accompaniment. Instrumental solo options for C-, Bb-, and Eb-instruments are also included in the set.
