Description:
Peace, Please, published by Norsk Noteservice, is a deeply moving and expressive solo work for euphonium and concert band with a remarkable history: The piece was originally commissioned by the Headquarters of Defense and presented to the United Nations Peacekeeping Forces as a tribute of appreciation upon receiving the 1988 Nobel Peace Prize. This poignant composition offers the euphonium soloist a wonderful opportunity to showcase rich tonal warmth, cantabile phrasing, and emotional depth, sensitively supported by the concert band. Whether featured as the centerpiece of your concert program or performed as a dignified musical statement for peace, this piece will resonate deeply with performers and audiences alike. This edition includes the full score and a complete set of parts.
