Description:
Puttin' on the Ritz, whose title derives from the fashionable Ritz Hotel and means 'to dress chic and modern', is a song by Irving Berlin that first appeared in the 1930 music film of the same name. Since then it has often been interpreted, for example by Fred Astaire or in the Top Ten version from the 1980s by Taco. Lorenzo Bocci transposed the rhythmically very interesting, swinging piece for wind orchestra.
