With this concert march, the author pays homage to Cortina d'Ampezzo,
the 'Queen of the Dolomites', and to its mountains that, because of their
beauty, were declared a world heritage site from UNESCO on 26 June
2009.
The melodic lines of the main themes follow the dramatic profile of the Dolomites
of Cortina d'Ampezzo. A virtual mountain walk that, reaching the tops and
then climbing down to the valley, allows the audience to feel the beauty of such
a wonderful site.
