The Ballet Gayaneh was composed by Aram Khachaturian in 1940 for the Direction of Kirov Opera and Ballet Theatre of Leningrad.In this ballet there is the Sabre Dance about which the same Aram Khachaturian said: 'My Sabre Dance came into being quite by accident'.
