The Alemannic folk song "D'r Hans im Schnoogeloch (or Schnokeloch)" from the 19th century first spread throughout Alsace and eventually far beyond, and is considered its unofficial "anthem". In the present version, Franz Watz has now reworked the traditional song in a musically varied way.
