A ballad by Hannes Kupfner in which a flugelhorn and a tenor horn engage in a vocal dialogue. This idea came to life in a particularly beautiful way with the "Soloschnulze." The melody is performed alternately and in unison by the soloists. This presents a challenge, particularly in terms of expression, tonal beauty, and musical phrasing. One might call it a "duet solo"; alongside plenty of lyrical melody, there are also technical passages where the character is more lively.
