Description:
The march "Sonnenstürmer" was specially composed for the youth band of the Musikkapelle Jenesien, the "Jenesinger Soundtschäcker." The piece is intentionally kept simple and is tailored to the musical abilities of young musicians. A catchy melody, clear rhythms and an accessible instrumentation create a lively and powerful march character. In the trio, the tenor horn takes a short solo, giving the instrument a chance to stand out. This is followed by a full-band section that comes back with plenty of energy and punch. Above all, "Sonnenstürmer" is meant to convey the joy of making music together, energy, and the fun of playing march music.
