Description:
This hymn tune from the 11th century is the oldest known polyphonic arrangement of Norwegian Music. The text is in Latin and dedicated to St. Magnus. Magnus Orknoeyjarl (Magnus Erlendsson) (1076-1115) died a martyr's death and was later made a saint. He is the only Norwegian saint recognized by the pop. Outside of the Nordic countries he is recognized as a Scottish Saint.
