eXplora Grade 1+
A trombone is called a 'trombone' in English. This actually means that it is basically a large tromba, a trumpet. In the past, trumpets were also played with a slide. They then sound more beautiful than a brass instrument with valves, but they are also more difficult to play. With a slide you can also create special effects like glissandi. This effect then sounds very funny and amusing and is therefore often used in the circus for many tricks. In our piece T-BONE-TRICKS the trombone may present itself with all its tricks on stage.
