Experience the mysteries of Bonampak, an ancient structure located in Mexico’s Mayan Riviera. This programmatic work portrays three different rooms within the structure and is thus divided into three sections - Robing of the Nobles, War, and Ceremony. After an explosive fanfare, an intense war section features an abundance of percussion, woodwind flourishes and powerful fugue statements.
