The "Terminwalzer" was composed during the long period spent trying to find a rehearsal date for the "Postwirtmusi." Especially in larger ensembles with busy musicians, the difficulty of finding a date is well known in musical circles. At the same time, the anticipation of those hard-to-find dates is unmistakably evident in the music. Getting to play this waltz yourself should be the most important date of them all!
