The Guild of Roslar is an impressive and multifaceted work composed on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Koninklijke Harmonie "Het Gildemuziek" Roeselare (Belgium). This work expresses the unique character of the ensemble: energetic on the street and sensitive in the concert hall. With a traditional march as the centerpiece, a rousing musical journey develops. From the first fanfares and warm choral sounds, the tension grows through playful motifs with subtle allusions to the rich musical heritage of the association from Roeselare.
