Description:
The Hopping Pot was inspired by the story "The Wizard and the Hopping Pot" by J.K. Rowling. This is a wizard's tale from the Harry Potter universe, collected in the "Tales of Beedle the Bard". It tells the story of a young wizard who, like his late father (a powerful, kind-hearted magician), is initially unwilling to help his "non-magical" neighbors solve their problems and cure their illnesses with his magic potions. When the son rejects the first petitioners, it turns out that the old pot in which the father had brewed his helping concoctions now haunts the son, bouncing and incessantly reminding him of the neighbors' ignored ailments with noises and outpourings. With all his magic, the annoyed son can do nothing against the constantly loudly admonishing pot. Only when the son hears the pot and, like his father, uses his magical powers for the benefit of his non-magical neighbors, does the rebellious pot become content and calm down again.
