The Origins - A Spacetime Journey traces the pivotal stages of cosmic evolution—from the first physically describable moments to the continuous flow of space and time. Its seven sections translate scientific concepts into a dramaturgical musical narrative.

1. Singularity: All the energy of the universe is concentrated in a hypothetical point of infinite density. A simmering interplay of harmonies evokes the tension of this primordial state.

2. Big Bang: With the Big Bang, space, time, and musical motion begin. A fiery fanfare propels the piece toward its main theme.

3. Inflation: Immediately after the Big Bang, space expands almost instantaneously during the phase of cosmic inflation. Matter and antimatter form and annihilate each other; only a small surplus of matter remains—the fraction from which all mass in today's universe ultimately derives.

4. Formation: This process leaves behind a dark, homogeneous universe of subatomic particles. Gradually, the first hydrogen atoms emerge. In denser regions, gravity increases the temperature until nuclear fusion ignites—the first star is born. A broadly unfolding Adagio captures this emergence of light.

5. Unfolding: The first stars create heavier elements within their cores—and in their spectacular supernova explosions. From these elements arises the diversity of cosmic matter that enables later generations of stars, planetary systems, and ultimately life itself. The universe unfolds, growing richer and more complex. The music opens accordingly, reflecting this expansion in color, variety, and breathtaking depth.

6. Entropy: The introduction to the reprise traces the transition from order toward increasing turbulence. The music builds a sweeping arc toward the Allegro Grandioso, where the main theme returns in full brilliance. At its core lies the physical concept of entropy: the gradual transformation of all forms of energy into heat—an irreversible process that defines the arrow of time.

7. Continuum: In the final section, the majestic fanfare rises once more, now with a distinctly conclusive character. With it, the continuum is closed in on itself and the musical arc is complete.
