Description:
The Spanish are known for their music, their art and their bullfights. Whereby the bullfights are the least popular, because the bull dies in the process. In Portugal, too, the bullfight has its tradition, but compared to Spain, the bull is not killed there.
The bullfights in the south of France, on the other hand, are primarily for entertainment and laughter: here the bull is not a real animal, but two men in disguise. This 'toro' (= bull) is then lured into a specially constructed swimming pool (piscine). Loud 'Olé' calls in the audience accompanied this cheerful spectacle.
With these funny images in mind, Luigi di Ghisallo composed his TORO PISCINE. As music fits there naturally best a small, cheerful Paso Doble.
