Description:
Town Hall Overture is a lively piece, based on the Dutch folksong with a nonsense text about a June bug. In Rob Goorhuis' composition the melody is initially played complete and in unison, after which the theme is reworked in various ways and in different time signatures. A performance sure to provide entertainment for musicians and audience alike!
