U.S.A. - the United States of America (United States of America) is often just called U.S. in the short form. This has given rise to the colloquial nickname 'Uncle Sam'.
UNCLE SAM ON PARADE was created in reference to the famous composer John Philip Sousa and the great American military parades. These military parades are a real spectacle. With six trombones in front, drum band and show girls, they march 'down the avenue' in 6/8 time. The marches of John Philip Sousa are world famous, for example 'Stars and Stripes forever' and 'The Washington Post'.
By the way, there is also a rumor that the composer's name SOUSA is a pseudonym, i.e. a stage name. In this case, especially the last three letters stand out: USA...!
