Description:
Unter Donner und Blitz is probably one of Johann Strauss' most famous polkas. The first performance took place under the title "Sternschnuppen" on 16 February 1868 at the Hesperus-Künstlerball in Vienna's Diana-Saal by the Strauss Orchestra under the direction of the composer. The present transcription for wind orchestra is very close to the original.
