Description:
On themes from G.F. Händel's "Water Music," appropriately arranged, the author has created a typical baroque concerto in three movements, with contained difficulty.
"Water Music" is a series of three orchestral suites composed by Georg Friedrich Händel for King George I of Great Britain's river parties, first performed in 1717. From this work, three movements have been selected and arranged to form a typical three-movement concerto, titled "Water Concert," with an Allegro - Andante - Allegro structure. The piece, of moderate difficulty, serves as an excellent introduction for both performers and listeners to the distinctive sounds of Baroque music.
