Welcome to the Music hat die Struktur eines 'songs'. Dem Intro mit dynamischer 'Willkommensfanfare' folgt ein schwungvoller Refrain, der im Wechsel mit 'strophen' bzw. 'Couplets' mehrfach wiederholt wird. Die Coda täuscht ab Takt 121 einen 'fade out' an und endet in einer ausdrucksstarken Schlusssteigerung.
