Description:
Ice ages, warm periods, impacts by asteroids - the climate on our planet has always been changing. The difference to the past is that the change since the industrial revolution is now increasingly caused by humans. In particular, the release of greenhouse gases promotes the warming of the atmosphere and the oceans. Some experts even predict an increase of up to 4.8 degrees by the end of the 21st century. The result of such a development would be, in addition to environmental catastrophes that are difficult to predict, a gigantic migration movement. The aim is to reduce CO2 emissions: it is five minutes to twelve. The harbingers of catastrophe have already reached us.
