This suite was composed in the winter of 2024, for the junior band of Tjøme skolemusikk. The different movements describe the challenges and joys of winter and the cold season: 1. Snow 2. Freezing Cold 3. Slippery 4. Spring is coming All parts contain challenges, and most instruments are given opportunities to play melodies and thematic material. The four movements each have distinct character and may be performed either individually or as a complete set.
