The JUNIOR PERCUSSION series was created from practice for practice. The pieces were written "for the body" of students at a music school. The choice of instruments is often limited at music schools, which is why adequate substitute instruments can also be used for these percussion ensembles. There are two pieces in each issue. In the respective preliminary exercises, all the rhythms that occur in the two pieces are summarized. In this way, these can be worked out step by step. In MEMBRANO A TRE, each player has a four-bar theme. This is repeated one after the other, with and against each other, completely and divided. In ROTAZIO A TRE, everyone plays both an ostinato rhythm and an eight-bar theme. This occurs completely and abbreviated as well as simultaneously and side by side. Both pieces can be scored as soloists and choirs, although variation and improvisation in the instrumentation is expressly desired.
