Snare Attack!

With "Snare Attack!", I present eight varied and effective solo pieces for snare drum, written especially for competitions, while also being perfectly suited for examinations and concerts. My aim was to combine classical snare drum technique and rudiments with a wide range of sounds and modern expressive possibilities. Alongside precise strokes, timing and powerful passages, the pieces also explore unusual playing techniques. You can play directly with your hands, use brushes and soft mallets, or create different sound colors with the rim, stick clicks and other effects. "Snare Attack!" combines technical challenge with creativity, excitement and the joy of playing. I wish you lots of inspiration, creative energy and enjoyment in your practice and performances!
