Description:
A Rhythmic Movement for marimba solo is an atonal piece for medium advanced
marimbist which is characterized by the continuous change of the meter. To make this composition, the semitones between the E-F and B-C notes have been used as a basis, so that different combinations such as unfolded and strike chords, among others, are created. This composition lasting about 6 minutes, is divided into three main sections (Allegro vivo, Cadenza senza mesura, Allegro) and a final coda where the main elements of the piece appear.
