Originally from the Faber Music publication Perpetual Motion, a collection of 10 evocative pieces written for young pianists to explore and enjoy, these pieces have been transcribed for marimba or vibraphone by Dame Evelyn Glennie with the intention of concentrating on musicality: 'Each piece was conceived to focus on a particular technical challenge thus helping to develop your mallet prowess, but I also see them as little sound stories.
