Description:
This energetic and powerful percussion trio is a tribute to the drums of Japan and Africa. Fudō is a Japanese term used in Zen Buddhism and means an unshakable serenity of the soul, a higher state of consciousness. his piece was written for the finale of the "Tchiki!" show with the combination "Duo + Soloist". It requires great technical precision, a traditional approach to African rhythms and an energetic performance on the bass drums (Daiko) from the duo - who have no eye contact. The result: a musically virtuoso and visually impressive piece.
