Description:
This piece is composed for the percussion accessories most commonly and frequently used by symphonic composers.
It consists of three movements, each one featuring a different instrument: tambourine, castanets and triangle.
It is based on several orchestral excerpts from the symphonic repertoire, although at some point there are also rhythms and techniques that reflect the popular background and character inherent to these instruments.
Using a wide range of sound resources, my intention is none other than to give them all the prominence they deserve.
