Unbroken is the excitement and fascination associated with Klezmer, the secular music of Eastern European Jews. This edition offers all the material for authentic performances of well-known and new pieces.
The 12 pieces are arranged for 'open instrumentation', i.e. one can instrument according to one's own taste when playing, octave voices , omit voices or improvise one's own ideas to them. They allow an insight into the typical happy-painful melody and harmony of Yiddish music, which arose from a mixture of Jewish, Slavic, Romanian and German stylistic elements and is currently experiencing a rebirth in the folklore scene.

Henner Diederich teaches folklore playing and arranging at the Cologne University of Music and has made a name for himself especially in the field of klezmer music with numerous publications.
