Description:
Friday I'm in Love' is a song by British rock band The Cure. It is the second single from the album 'Wish' (1992), and it became a worldwide hit.
It won the award for European Viewer's Choice for Best Music Video at the 1992 MTV Video Music Awards.
The Cure first began releasing music in the late 1970s. Their debut album was 'Three Imaginary Boys' (1979). This, along with several early singles, placed the band as part of the post-punk and New Wave movements that had sprung up in the wake of the punk rock revolution in the United Kingdom.
