Description:
In this original three-movement work, Ivo Kouwenhoven has attempted to write the atmosphere of Renaissance music for 4 voice young band or flexible ensemble. Renaissance music refers to Western European art music from about 1400 to 1600. Before Renaissance music came medieval music, after it came Baroque music. One of the most famous Dutch composers of the time was Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck.
