Description:
Gi meg fri ("set me Free") was released in 1992 on Jahn Teigen's album Esilio Paradiso. Throughout the 1990s, Teigen had both a personal and artistic connection to Italy, which is reflected in this song through its lyrics in both Norwegian and Italian. The lyrics express a strong longing for freedom, time for oneself, and space for imagination and thought. Both the album and this song mark the beginning of a fruitful period in Teigen's career as a songwriter and artist. The sound file is generated from the Music notation software.
