Cabo de São Vicente

This solo guitar piece evokes the far southwestern tip of Portugal, where the Algarve comes to an end. After the gentle coves and golden sand of the beaches, the coastline becomes wilder, more rugged—like a final thrust of land facing the immensity. There, perched on the cliff, the red and white lighthouse of Cabo de São Vicente watches over the Atlantic. The music reflects this contrast between dazzling light, untamed sea, and the serenity of the place. It is a joyful melody, carried by rhythms reminiscent of bossa nova—a vibrant tribute to the raw beauty of the cape.
