The purpose of this booklet is to acquire a basic elementary technique. The arrangement of the notes on the fingerboard up to the 12th fret is presented and some changes of position for the left hand are discussed. Scales, exercises and studies are expanded with variations for the right hand. The study of slurs between two and three notes is initiated, and the easiest natural harmonics to obtain, corresponding to frets V, VII and XII, are treated.
