Description:
Between 1750 and 1800 the expression Divertimento is found for suite-like compilations in different tempi, however, they were very popular as entertainment music. Even with guitar composers we find many Divertimenti like Carulli, Carcassi and Sor. Jaruzzi wrote this Divertimento around 1810. The single pieces are original and varying, but very easy to play and therefore suitable for beginners. A real piece of Viennese Classic. There is not much known about Pierre Jaruzzi. He probably lived in the late 18th early 19th century, presumbaly in Paris, possibly Italian; a fascinating discovery and without doubt an enrichment for the guitar repertory.
