Description:
Introduction et Fantaisie is a short piece based on the folk song "Kaži sinko, kaži dušo" in Torlak dialect from southeastern Serbia. While the introduction brings forth the ornamented song in style of a prélude non mesuré, the fantasia, which is built on the main motif of the song, transforms the composition resulting in the culmination and a subsequent repeat of the ending phrase from introduction. The piece is dedicated to guitarist/lutenist Marija Rašic.
