La Procesión de las Flores depicts the famous processions in which the statue of the Virgin Mary is carried throughout Spain: the preparations, the solemn procession, the prayer, the dances and the final celebration. The work remains guitaristic throughout and of a good level of difficulty. Its length is particularly noteworthy - something that is not often found in guitar literature. The entire piece is carefully provided with fingerings, which makes sight-reading easier. This festive suite is aimed at both amateurs and students (competition piece) and will enrich the concert repertoire of professional performers in the Spanish style.
