Learning to solo has never been easier or more affordable. The dynamic Soloing Series offers the essential elements every soloist needs. Each DVD runs approximately 40-50 minutes and comes complete with an accompanying booklet showing examples in notation and tablature. Each DVD is filled with rock-solid information from beginning to end. In this DVD, MI instructor Danny Gill unveils the mystery of the heavy riff. In this intense workout, you will discover a whole new world of chords and single note riffs with Drop D tuning. Danny will also take you through a variety of picking hand techniques, including muting, pitch harmonics, downstrokes, double picking, and alternate picking. There is even a section on tuning the entire guitar down two whole steps to a low C for something extra fat and chunky. Each section gives you plenty of time to jam along, so you will feel like you're a part of the band. There is even a top 10 list of Danny's favorite noises - some of which you will have to see to believe! This is some of the most usable and musical information you will ever learn! Packed with licks and practice ideas, this DVD will help develop your ear and continue to improve your soloing for months and years to come.
