The Quartet op. 6 no. 4 belongs to the "Sei quartetti concertante" for 2 violins, viola and violoncello, which were published in Paris by Mr Heina in 1775.
Antonio Lorenziti composed a large number of religious works for vocal parts with and without orchestra. Although he wrote some symphonic works, which have not been found to this day, the majority of his output is devoted to chamber music. The arrangement is by Jean-Pierre-Yraéta.
