In Born4Horn the entire horn section comes to the fore! The piece can be performed with 3 or 4 horns; there are no horn parts in the accompaniment. The solo parts and band parts are written at a medium (Grade 3) level, so musicians who have 3-4 years of experience should be able to play this quite well. Born4Horn is a welcome addition to the repertoire for amateur horn players and had its world premiere in the Brucknerhaus in Linz (Austria) on May 21, 2014, performed by a total of 148 horn players!
